Shawn was born in Anchorage, Alaska in 1973. He was raised with a military family background with a true passion for respect, integrity and discipline in everything he accomplishes. He moved to North Carolina as a young boy and was raised there until 18. His first job was a fry cook at a family friends barbecue restaurant. After about 6 months Shawn took over running the entire kitchen. He worked there about 6 years and then moved to Wisconsin where he began his career working in corporate hotel and restaurant chains. He traveled around the United States opening successful restaurants and setting up back of the house structures. He moved to the Hudson Valley in 2012 and has been pursuing his dreams to bring traditional down south southern barbecue to our local neighborhood.
